Our head chef builds every menu around what's in season and what's nearby. Winter brings Bluff oysters and slow-braised Canterbury lamb. Summer shifts toward Hauraki Gulf snapper, Waikato stone fruit, and salads dressed with Waiheke olive oil.
The room itself is warm and unhurried — exposed timber, brass fixtures, soft downlighting, and wide windows that frame the harbour. The wine list runs to 400 labels, curated by our sommelier from Marlborough sauvignon blancs to Central Otago pinot noirs, with a handful of international bottles for the curious.
Breakfast is a harbour-view buffet with a live barista station, freshly baked pastries, and a hot-dish menu. Lunch is à la carte. Dinner is our most considered meal — a five- or seven-course tasting menu alongside an à la carte option.

A ground-floor cocktail lounge where the lights dim as the evening deepens. Our bartenders work with native New Zealand botanicals — horopito, kawakawa, mānuka — to create a drinks menu that feels distinctly of this place.
The back bar carries a curated selection of New Zealand craft spirits, a rotating whisky programme, and a small-plates menu designed to share. Seating ranges from deep leather armchairs to harbour-facing bar stools — depending on whether you're here for conversation or contemplation.

Our full room-service menu is available 24 hours a day — from a midnight club sandwich to a three-course dinner served in your suite. For guests in the Deluxe and Penthouse suites, an in-room dining setup with tableware, glassware, and candle arrangement can be arranged with advance notice.
